Thunder Bolt Past Imperials
On a cold, blustery day outdoors, the storm inside the Medina Gym had the Medina-Pingree-Buchanan Thunder bolt right past the Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter boys’ basketball team by a score of 51-91.
In action last Friday, Jan. 16 the Thunder added to their perfect record in convincing fashion as they jumped out to a 7-6 early lead and never looked back. The Imperials first six points came from triples from both freshman Bradley Hottman and junior Brenden Zenker. From that point on it was all Thunder, who dominated with their height as well as their great shooting from the outside. The team had 10 triples and they were led by MPB senior Gage Hofmann who had 14 of his game high 34 in this frame. After the first eight minutes of play the Imperials found themselves trailing 12-29.
The second period was even a bit tougher for NGS as they only managed. . .
