The Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter girls’ volleyball team honored their parents and program participants last Tues., Oct. 5 during a parent’s night program. All high school volleyball participants and parents were recognized prior to the start of the varsity game.

The Imperials opened the first set with a strong showing with the momentum rolling from action the night before in Medina. NGS jumped out to a quick start as they doubled up the visiting Wildcats 14-7. Enroute to the first set win the Imperials only gave up 5 more points as they sailed to a 25-12 win.

The second set had NGS head coach Paulina Haak and her squad maintaining their dominance as senior Imperial hitters Ashley Schmitt, Kylie Breidenbach, McKenzie Haas and Lakkin Ryum were all striking the ball well in the front row. In this set the Imperials also managed to dig up nearly everything C-S attempted to put down as NGS only allowed 7 points, enroute to the 25-7 win.

The third set the Imperials once again jumped out to an early lead, before. . .
