May 24, 2023

The Kidder County Wolves have a pair of athletes, junior Trevor Moos and senior Kennedy Harter, who will be representing the team at the ND State Track and Field meet this weekend in Bismarck.

The pair of athletes state qualified during the South Central Region track meet held in Hazen on Friday, May 19.

Moos, a junior at Napoleon High School, had qualified earlier in the season in the 100 meter dash and last Friday at the South Central Conference meet he captured a pair of first place finishes in both the long jump at 20-4 and in the triple jump at 40-00.50.

On the girls side, Kidder County senior Kennedy Carter placed third in the high jump at 4-10, second in both the long jump at 15-6 and in the high jump at 36-05.

In order to state qualify athletes needed to place in the top three in the region meet.

As a team, both the boys and girls teams finished in. . .
