Lady Wrestlers State Qualify 2

The Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter lady wrestlers had their East Region qualifying tournament last Fri., Feb. 13 in Valley City. NGS head coach Kyle Friez had three wrestlers entered in the tournament: senior Elise Kristiansen at 124 lbs., and a pair of sophomores, Felicia Haas at 136 lbs. and Adisyn Zubke at 148 lbs.
There were 23 teams represented at the region tournament, which included both Class A and Class B schools, and the top 8 individuals in each weight class punch their ticket to the State Girls’ Wrestling tournament in Fargo, Feb. 19-21.
