Girls’ BB Back On The Court

The Imperial girls’ basketball team stepped back onto the court last week, as practice for the season began Monday, November 17. Head Coach Paul Erbele reported numbers have decreased again, compared to last year, with a total of 13, including 4 eighth graders and one seventh grader being pulled up from junior high. 

“My goal is for the girls to have fun, play basketball and have fun playing on the team together,” said Erbele. “We hope to play faster; pressing, running the floor and making easy baskets,” he noted. 

The first game is scheduled for Tuesday, December 2 in Center, while the first home game in Napoleon is Friday, December 19 against Sargent County. “I’m excited for the season; these girls are fun to be around and I just want them to have fun throughout the season,” said Erbele. 

Lone senior, Lily Moos said her goals for the season include, “Grow with my team and make sure that. . .
