FFA Members Do Well In District Ag Mechanics Contest

Two Napoleon FFA members along with advisor; Mr. Brian Schneider attended the District 6 Agricultural Mechanics contest in Edgeley pm Tues., May 20. The students competed in the 9th and 10th grade divisions.
Students complete various tasks in each division, which should cover areas they have studied during their Agricultural Education classes. In the ninth-grade division the students complete a small wood project using hand tools and a few small electric tools, they also have tool identification, tool fitting, a bill of materials, and a written exam. James Moch represented the Napoleon Chapter in the 9th grade division where he earned a gold award plus a tool prize for his first-place finish.
