Logan County Voters To Have 1 New Commissioner

With only 4 votes separating a pair of Logan County Commission candidates, and more ballots to be considered by the canvassing board, a winner has not yet been declared.
The 1,080 Logan County voters had a choice of four commission candidates with two spots needing to be filled at the last Tues., Nov. 3 general election.
Incumbent John W. Wald was seeking re-election to the 4-year term on the commission while three newcomers were also seeking one of the two open positions.
Current member Dean Entzminger did not seek re-election.
After all votes were counted on Election Day, Nov. 3, Charlie Johs, rural Napoleon garnered the most votes at 570. John W. Wald, Napoleon edged Loren L. Muller, Gackle by only 4 votes, 454 to 450. The remaining commission candidate on the ballot was Ruben Auch, rural Wishek who tallied 432 votes.
