Gaining Student Teaching Experience In Her Hometown

One 2017 NHS graduate is back in her hometown elementary school finishing up her college education degree. “I always knew I wanted to be a teacher, ever since I was little,” said Breanna Johnson of Kintyre. 

After graduation, Johnson decided to attend Valley City State University to pursue a degree in education with a kindergarten endorsement. “I like working with kids and want to help make a difference,” she noted.

She began her student teaching experience last Monday, January 4, with Ms. Mary Meyer in the Napoleon kindergarten class room. She will stay with this grade until the middle of February, when she will finish her student teaching with Mrs. Susan Wald in the Napoleon third grade class room until the end of April.
