City Approves Sales Tax Request

The Napoleon City Council discussed a request from the One Cent City Sales Tax Committee at the regular meeting last Wednesday afternoon, January 7. Board members present included Mayor Todd Moos, Clark Haas, Mike Heying, Bob Humann, Rich Bjerklie and Rod Kleppe, while Alderman John Wald was absent.
The request submitted by the Napoleon Wildlife Club, was presented and approved for $3,000 to be used to install a “Catch of the Day” sign near the boat landing at West Lake, along with the construction of a minimum maintenance bathroom.
